“The inside looks beautiful, the shelves are all done, and we’re just finishing up a few final things,” said an employee out front of the store.
Farm Boy said it will offer “fresh produce, quality Canadian meats, local dairy, and a wide variety of popular Farm Boy private-label products. Complementing these offerings will be a selection of gluten-free, plant-based, vegan, and vegetarian options, catering to diverse dietary options.”
“We are delighted to expand our presence in the GTA and bring the Farm Boy experience to the vibrant community of Oshawa,” said Shawn Linton, president and general manager. “This new location reflects our commitment to offering top-quality products at great value and exceptional customer service while fostering a deep connection with local communities.”
The official kick-off will start at 7:30 a.m. Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Oshawa Mayor Dan Carter and Farm Boy staff and executives. The store will then open to the public at 8 a.m.
